UNE celebrates the contribution of its international students

Higher Education Partnership for Australia and Saudi Arabia
Australian Minister for Education, Julia Gillard, and Saudi Arabian Minister for Higher Education, His Excellency Dr Khalid bin Mohammed Al Ankarym, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in Higher Education to build on the cooperative ties between the two nations. The Memorandum builds on existing links in higher education between the two nations and confirms the Australian Government’s partnership with Saudi Arabia in Higher Education. Australian higher education system could become an international example, says expert
Australia’s higher education sector has the potential to be the most diverse and therefore among the most effective in the world, according to a leading international expert. Speaking for the LH Martin Institute’s executive seminar series at the University of Melbourne’s Graduate School of Education, Professor Frans Van Vught praised new policy initiatives being introduced to the sector.
