Challenger Institute of Technology students will have better opportunities to study at university thanks to a new West Australian-first partnership with Murdoch University. As part of the partnership, launched by Minister for Training and Workforce Development Peter Collier, Challenger Institute students studying selected diplomas will be able to transfer straight into the second year of a related degree at Murdoch. Overseas students are as good as gold education
Higher education earnings from international students increased by 1.3 billion dollars to 9.5 billion dollars for the year. Vocational training earned 4.3 billion dollars. The figures show that the turmoil of violent attacks on Indian students, and a volatile Australian dollar, had yet to dampen demand for higher education, vocational training, schools and English-language courses. Collaboration with Chinese university to be expanded
