The number of international student enrolments has more than doubled in South Australia since 2002 – the largest increase in the nation. The Bureau of Statistics says income generated by the increase has risen to 805 million dollars, up from 294 million dollars in 2002. ABC News, 22 December 2009

Scholarships for career advisers announced
December 23rd, 2009The Acting Minister for Education, Kim Carr, announced the 92 career advisers who have been awarded an Australian Government Scholarship for Career Advisers. The Australian Government’s Scholarships for Career Advisers program provides an opportunity for practitioners to enhance their career advisory skills, and by extension, supports young people making the transition from school to work or further study. AUSSE 2009 insights
December 23rd, 2009The Australasian Survey of Student Engagement (AUSSE) has provided the most extensive insights yet into how Australasian students engage in university study. The 2009 collection, involving 35 universities and also including a parallel staff survey, has provided universities with data that they can use for quality improvement.
